The Galerie Menssen (Menssen artgallery) was first opened in the north of Hamburg in 1986. Today it extends its activities beyond the bounds of the city and offers:
Exhibitions showing exclusive works of art
The Galerie Menssen‘s exhibition program largely features the demanding work of the gallery's own and associated artists. They include the world renowned painter Ernst Fuchs from Vienna (phantastic realism), Professor Karsten Hein (constructive art), Katja Saposhkov (decorative expressionism) and the contemporary Thomas Hamann (abstract works and kinetic objects). The exhibitions in the gallery’s showroom change several times a year. In addition, the gallery’s program includes participation at art fairs in Germany and abroad.
Disseminating original works of art
The Galerie Menssen team not only decorates its customers‘ living and work spaces, it pays particular attention to the dissemination of exclusive works of art, with exceptional value guarantees. The gallery has already worked with both nationally known companies and prominent individuals.
The Galerie Menssen offers its customers special skills in professional picture presentation and conservation of art. The picture frames are made exclusively with evident sensitivity and great technical expertise. Custom framing has made the Gallery a well-known reference point even outside Hamburg.
In order to preserve the value of paintings and precious picture frames, conservation and restoration services are necessary, requiring a high degree of expertise and sense of responsibility. Years of cooperation with qualified professionals have enabled the team of the Galerie Menssen to give competent advice and coordinate the repair of damaged paintings or frames for its customers.
